Frequently Asked Questions

What packages do you offer?

We don’t really offer packages. Our prices start at $2,450 for 6 hours of wedding photography with one photographer. From there you can add more hours, an additional photographer, an engagement session and photo books. Simple and easy.

What are engagement sessions?

An engagement session is a 1 hour long couples portrait photo shoot in your location of choice. Not only does this allow you to get to know your photographer better, but you’ll also walk away with lovely photos to use for your save-the-date cards, wedding website, or just to post on Instagram. Engagement sessions are $475 and include about 40 photos, delivered within 2 weeks.

What’s the difference between 6 and 10 hours of photography?

Let’s start with what’s possible with 6 hours. This typically allows for 3/4 day coverage, like ceremony, portraits, cocktail hour, and reception. If you would like getting ready photos or if you are planning an exit at the end of your reception, we typically recommend at least 8 hours. 10 hours or more are excellent if you have multiple locations on your wedding day. If you are getting ready in a hotel, will have your ceremony in a church and then your reception at a venue, 10 hours are typically needed because of all the travel included over the course of the day. Wedding days move slower, it takes much longer to gather everybody in cars vs when you’re just driving to the grocery store by yourself.

How can we book?

Fill out our inquiry form to get the booking process started. Let us know which services you’re interested in. We’ll then send over an agreement along with payment link for a required $500 retainer payment. Once that’s completed, we are on! The remaining balance is then due 2 weeks prior to your wedding.

How can we choose a photographer?

After you inquire with us we’ll send you a few options, based on what you are planning. About 4-6 months prior to your wedding, we’ll reach out again with available photographers for your day. The reason why, is because we only work with established photographers with experience. Your selected photographer will then set up a video call about a month before your wedding to go over your timeline, shot list, and other details.

What if we want to add upgrades later?

Not a problem at all! You can always add more hours or pre-purchase your wedding photo book.

What do your prices include?

Every wedding is captured from a documentary perspective. We focus on the authentic moments while capturing relaxed portraits of you two and your families. After your wedding, you’ll receive a private online gallery with your images, that you can view, share, and download. We typically deliver about 50-75 photos from an hour of photography. An 8 hour wedding day gallery usually includes about 400-500 high resolution photos, for example.

Can we make prints?

Absolutely! There will be an embedded print store in your wedding gallery where you can order prints and other printed products from. You can also download the high resolution files and take them to any 3rd party printing lab. You are not required to print with us.

What does a 2nd photographer do?

A 2nd photographer is a fantastic add on if you want reaction photos of your family and friends during the ceremony, or your first dance. The 2nd photographer focuses on your guests while the lead photographer primarily focuses on you two. The 2nd photographer can also photograph cocktail hour while you are doing your post-ceremony portraits and family photos. Lastly, they’ll also provide unique angles from all the important moments of the day. We highly recommend a 2nd photographer for weddings with more than 150 guests.

What happens if my photographer is not able to make it?

We get it. People get sick. We have a team of photographers who are available to step in on short notice.

Can we pick our editing style?

Yes you can! We offer three different editing styles. Our default one is a natural true-to-color style, which is what most folks go with. The other two are vintage film, and dramatic and moody. Let us know what you’re interested in. Some editing styles are not a good fit for certain days, and we’ll let you know. The dramatic and moody style, is for example, not a great fit for an outdoor summer wedding, but perfect for one in the fall.
